August Pemberton is not an ordinary 19-year-old university student. While spending his days studying Computer Science, when it comes to creating whimsical and inspiring beats imagiro (as most of us in the chillhop / beat scene know him) is pretty much unbeatable.

Growing up in a musical family, his introduction to the world of sounds dates back to his early childhood. Transitioning from playing piano to producing and using DAW stations, Imagiro’s first goal had been making video game beats. Fast-forward to 2020 and his sound has evolved into a beautifully crafted chillhop / lofi art. One of the highlights for August so far has been winning the Tennyson “wintersleep” remix competition in 2019.
