Over the span of two transformative years, packed with many songwriting sessions with artists from all around Europe and a streak of live performances as part of the JAMBOX crew, ymprl alongside his long-time collaborator Victor Aithen return with a brand-new project that marks a defining moment in their artistic evolution. Following the release of his debut collaborative EP Daydreaming in early 2023, which introduced listeners to his signature nostalgic and atmospheric sound, Shooting Stars emerges as a natural progression and bold reinvention. Their debut EP received widespread acclaim, amassing over 15 million global streams and earning support from SiriusXM, as well as numerous editorial playlist placements and recognition from key tastemakers.

“For me it’s a milestone in my musical journey: a blend of my favourite genres wrapped in a chill electronic vibe. Every session was special — we’d discover a small sound or melody and build an entire track around it. The result is familiar and sentimental, but elevated — more immersive, more textured, and made to be enjoyed no matter where you are.“, Victor elaborates.
