The PARTYNEXTDOOR 4 album was released just a few days ago and I couldn’t stop listening to it. I’ve always been a dark r&B girlie, so it was on repeat all day long. I remember I was into the tube going to a session with this guy I’ve never worked with before. Was a bit nervous, so I was like I have to have something prepared before hand and I was humming things to my phone and recording it on voice memo, people were looking at me weirdly, lol. Everything I recorded on the memo was shit so I was like okay just let it go, you’ll fine. Then I got off the tube and here it was, it was in my head D – i- i – i – scipline…. I was like “oh shit” that is it, sounded so sick, but I wasn’t sure how I’m gonna incorporate that in the track cuz I had no idea where would it go. We clicked instantly with PB (the producer) and we knew we had a fire track in the first couple of mins.

After releasing a Live Session of her SCENARIOS EP – which gathered tens of thousands of views across socials – London singer Izabel returns with new music.
Her new single “Discipline” continues the thread of deep r&b that matches her heartfelt lyricism so well. It’s a song about commitment, setting boundaries, and not getting involved in on-off-on-again relationships.
Produced by PB (Headie One, Odeal, Miraa May), “Discipline” has hazy pads & punchy drums that carry Izabel’s honey vocals & relatable storytelling.
The single drops just 2 days after she opens for the acclaimed rapper Asher Roth @ Hootananny Brixton in London on Oct 29th.
