I took some time to reflect on the sound of my debut album and felt the need to further explore the bridge between my jazz roots and electronic music. This journey feels more mature and a true reflection of the recent inspirations in my life. It comes at a time in my life where I’m about to start my PhD and it was a much needed reflection on my current creative state.

Jazz musician / electronic producer EVDN. returns a year after his debut LP TENSION/RELEASE, which brought him praise from BBC Radio, KCRW, and a spot on Spotify’s Fresh Finds: Jazz.
The project is a creative challenge for EVDN. who plans on releasing one single each month until the end of 2024 when his sophomore LP will be released.
The forward-thinking artist goes beyond the cross-section of electronic music and jazz with a number of vocal performances and a further venture into the world of electronic music driven by live instruments.
All visuals are hand-drawn by Evden’s brother to further enhance the essence of his music rooted in experimentation.

EVDN. is a jazz bassist and experimental electronic musician from Bulgaria. He picked his first bass guitar at the age of 16 and that’s when the concept of EVDN. was born. Just like the music he’s creating, his journey feels cosmic, and both guiding and non-directional at the same time.
