One of the earliest Stereofox label artists – versatile producer & multi-instrumentalist Boyan returns with another funky gem, together with frequent collaborator, US singer Nic Hanson (worked with names like Bakermat, Dana Williams, Moon Boots).
After the uplifting “Something” and the hyper-funk (as they call it) “Around The World”, the two gents united for a 3rd time for “Love Me Wrong”. The single takes a more soulful & smooth turn, while still maintaining their usual nu-funk aesthetic & energy. It’s a song, perfect to end summer with – warm vocals, groovy beatwork/basslines, playful jazzy keys & lush horns.
After a series of singles & joint projects, “Love Me Wrong” marks the announcement of Boyan’s highly anticipated new EP, the first since his 2021 Closure.

Boyan
Hailing from Bulgaria’s capital Sofia, Boyan Angelov is one of the driving forces behind the local instrumental scene. Inspired by soul, funk, disco, and future beats, the producer and DJ has over 15 years of experience crafting soulful, touching beats. Boyan joined the Stereofox label family in 2019 and started solidifying his presence in the international scene with his debut Morning With Her EP.
