I love when studio sessions start with a blank canvas and you just get to experiment and feel the energy and go from there. This track came about really effortlessly as we started building up on a simple idea we had in the beginning – just a basic guitar, really beautiful but easy chords and kind of a romantic feeling. Kaiya really delivered on this one and I love how the final track came to be – a easy listening, classic r&b kind of vibe, sprinkled with kind of a “hollywood” vibe strings and flow.

It was cold outside but warm and toasty in the studio and I’d just watched a rom-com the night before, so I was in a hopeless romantic kinda mood haha. I think that definitely shows in the writing.
