Since I’ve been making a lot of funky music lately, I thought I’d also do a chill/dreamy tune for a change. Plus, Mondays can be quite nice, esp in summer, right?
Boyan
THE RELEASE
The versatile producer & multi-instrumentalist Boyan shares a new instrumental single, after releasing several vocal collabs with artists like falcxne, Nic Hanson & Quincy Mumford.
“Easy Like Monday” is true to its title – showing the more chill side of his music, as opposed to the previous upbeat jazzhop instrumentals, or disco/funky releases.
Albeit calmer, the song still carries his signature groove in the basslines, alongside moody keys & a laidback hip-hop beat that take you to a jazzy piano & spacey synth solos. A soundtrack for when time has stood still.
