Blending elements of analog and digital with programming and live performance, MKSTN’s creates music for lucid dreamstates, for connection and exploration — emotional, intellectual, sensory. A conduit from his inner tenderness to the internet’s often impersonal and sometimes impenetrable machine.

The Toronto producer began his journey as a professional dancer, choreographing to obscure electronic music by artists like Junior Boys, Booka Shade, and Boys Noize. While creating mixes for his dance crews in Acoustica Mixcraft, a high school friend introduced him to music production on a computer. A timely injury led him to invest in music gear instead of a trip to LA – a decision that changed his life forever.
