| Sydney-based music producer Pedram Rouz known to his listeners as P.R. crafted his art around being diverse. He is influenced by different aspects within Music, Art, Film, Culture, and Life Experiences. Despite becoming increasingly active within Hip-Hop and R&B music, he has expanded his horizons by fusing them with other music styles including Jazz, Soul, Funk, Chill-Out, Lounge, and Folk. He started exploring music production in 2006, while studying at university to complete his bachelor of Electronic Arts. His relentless passion, motivation and drive for producing music started paying off as he was gaining constant attention because of it. He then began to establish himself as a music producer with career goals and project aims, resulting in numerous releases. Come 2020, he released the album PuRr with long-time friend and collaborator Wengie under her lo-fi alias Chillcat, 8-tracks of Instrumental hip-hop fused with jazz and chill. Now, in 2021, his first Stereofox Records release is titled Behind Borders – an 8-track boom-bap infused EP serving as a sonic reflection of his lockdown experience in Australia and featuring tons of great collaborators. |
