Lofty

Pianist and guitarist, Alexander Strong-Saad, studies feminist thought and jazz guitar at McGill University. He first started making beats under the name Lofty in high school when he was first introduced to Ableton Live. He since then saw beat-making as a medium for expressing himself.

Having produced lofi beats since 2018, Alexander has made millions of streams and released music with big labels in the scene with a sound based on melodic soundscapes and organic textures. With every release, he aims to convey a reflection of his life through his music, his way of looking back at old releases and reliving those moments.
