AJ Hamilton
AJ Hamilton grew up in Madrid, where his musical journey began at the age of 13 with production lessons. Every weekend for over six years, he and a close group of friends would meet to share newly discovered music – everything from rock to jazz, house, reggae, and dub – gradually building an enormous collection that became a kind of diary of his life.
At 18, AJ Hamilton moved to Scotland to pursue a music degree, spending four years transforming accumulated knowledge and inspiration into regular music-making. Since then, creating has been a constant.
Now based in London, the Jazz House artist AJ Hamilton continues to evolve, shaped by the city’s vibrant musical landscape and the privilege of meeting artists such as Tom Misch and Jordan Rakei. These encounters, alongside London’s rich creative energy, have deeply influenced his sound.
AJ’s music reflects a wide range of experiences, with a catalogue spanning tracks like “Slow Exposure”, “Translation”, and “Metropolis”. Always pushing to broaden his musical horizons, AJ sees this as just the beginning – excited for how future experiences will shape the music still to come.
