“I’ve been focused lately on a lot of collaborative work and it has been a lot of fun but every now and than a good instrumental jazzhop beat comes creeping in the studio and this one is extra jazzy! The name of this one came up after I was messing around with some midi chords, chopping and rearranging them in different ways, but on the back of my head i was like “I should probably try to play these on the piano myself.” After numerous failed attempts and unproductive piano sessions, I ended up with a thought, “Well even if I use those MIDI chords – does it really matter?” Short answer? Nope, as long as the music is good and makes you head bop.”
