It’s always a pleasure to work with Lina – and I love it how she’s equally good on uplifting & slow-burner tunes. This is one of the latter – I kinda missed doing that deep r&b that takes you someplace else.
Boyan
THE RELEASE
Producer & multi-instrumentalist Boyan is on a roll with another stellar release for 2024.
After his acclaimed releases with Nic Hanson, Stefan Mahendra & Dann Dib (supported by the likes of COLORS, Spotify’s Nu Funk, Riffs & Runs, etc.), he is back with a new single with frequent collaborator – London singer Lina Nikol.
“Sometimes” takes him back to his smooth roots, with a slow groove, warm pads & thick basslines, solidified with Lina’s honey voice. It has a darker touch, making this a slow-burner you can’t get enough of.
