Sunrom showcases his talent for immersive world-building on his upcoming EP Everlight – a body of work that explores themes of doubt, loneliness, and the constant pull toward something beyond reach.

Everlight invites the listener to fully enter Sunrom’s world – fragile, expansive, and driven by the search for connection and new horizons. Through the EP, the French producer takes listeners on a cinematic, cosmic journey shaped by tension and emotion. Blending electronica, downtempo, chillout, and soft house, the EP moves between epic and intimate moments, balancing nostalgia, energy, and drama across its six tracks.

“For this project, I deliberately worked with analog synths, embracing imperfection, texture, and raw emotion as creative tools rather than flaws; this approach also guided my choice of mixing studios and engineers in Amsterdam and London, all aligned with a shared respect for complex, tactile machines,” Romain shares.

Inspired by the bewitching soundscapes of Moderat and Radiohead, Sunrom’s Everlight unfolds like a film score that guides the listener through emotional highs and lows. “Fade” stands as the first single, and its spacey, dejected charm ironically offers comfort with Sunrom’s vocal delivery. This sense of warmth continues on the second single, “Glory”, one of the most uplifting moments of the project. The pianos are fierce, the drums are thunderous, and the progression feels both triumphant and deeply emotional.

The EP is built without samples, with the artist’s voice woven through every track, giving the project a strikingly personal core. “My voice is present across every track, adding a deeply personal layer to the project. In an era dominated by digital speed and infinite polish, Everlight unfolds as a cinematic, human journey, designed as a cohesive whole, meant to be experienced from beginning to end, offering listeners a space where emotion, tension, and light can exist without compromise“, Sunrom elaborates.

With over a million Spotify streams to his name, the French producer’s cinematic style of electronica has appeared in popular shows like Misfits, Braqueurs, and Never Have I Ever, while also earning a spot on Deezer’s beloved Chill House editorial.
