Starbound is a sonic journey through space — a theme I’m deeply connected to and love exploring. The two tracks are in dialogue with each other, reflecting a universal conversation about connection and what we’re willing to do for one another. I recorded it with the Korg Trident by my side, allowing me to dive into a wide range of unique and expressive sounds. This EP feels like setting off into the unknown, but finding something profoundly human along the way.

Sunrom marks his debut with Stereofox with the awe-inspiring Starbound EP – a listening experience inspired by the vast beauties of the cosmos.
Sunrom has carved out a unique space in the electronic music world, fusing ambient soundscapes, deep house grooves, and a cinematic sensibility to create a sound of his own. The Paris-based artist has shown that his left-field sound can travel far, with remixes for the likes of Tour-Maubourg, releases on Kompakt, and multiple placements on popular Netflix series (Misfits, Braqueurs, and Never Have I Ever).
His new EP is comprised of 2 tracks which tastefully depict the evolution of his craft. On the moody lead single “Astral”, Sunrom blends downtempo and deep house in a manner that’s radiant with a cinematic flair. This is complemented by the lively and uplifting “Hero”. Its groovy rhythm section paired with the comforting vocals offers a space for solace. Starbound feels like embarking on a journey into uncharted territory – sonically and emotionally.
