I wanted to balance the precision of composition with the spontaneity of improvisation, while staying true to my roots in fusion and modern jazz. Each of the four pieces represents a season, each with its own sonic palette – sometimes contemplative and spacious, other times fiery and explosive. For me, it’s about using texture, emotion, and imagination to paint vivid musical landscapes.

THE RELEASE
Oct 9th - "Harvest Moon"
Nov 4th - Eternal Synergy EP
With Eternal Synergy, bassist and composer R.S. Riverman delivers a bold, season-inspired suite that blends the precision of modern jazz with the fire of improvisation. Performed with some of Bulgaria’s leading musicians, the album moves from the frozen stillness of winter to the radiant bloom of summer, capturing the timeless interplay between sound, emotion, and change – a record that resonates far beyond borders.
Across four original compositions, Riverman balances the precision of composition with the spontaneity of improvisation, staying true to his roots in fusion and modern jazz. Each season is given a unique sonic palette – at times contemplative and spacious, at others fiery and explosive, drawing on texture, emotion, and imagination to paint vivid musical landscapes.
The first single, “The First Light”, is a sonic journey through space and time where jazz and electronic music clash in the most perfect way possible. Rado alongside a galaxy of talented Bulgarian musicians (Vladislav Michev, Anthony Rikev, Jivkov Ivanov and Alexander Vasev) are set on cosmic exploration where the improvisational nature of jazz is channeled through futuristic synths and groovy funk melodies.
“Harvest Moon”, on the other hand, is a true embodiment of jazz experimentation. Joined by prolific Bulgarian musician Theodosii Spassov, they create an experience comparable to a soul elevation. Spassov doesn’t just play the kaval – he bends it, stretches it, and threads it through the realms of jazz, classical, and modern fusion. The result? A sound that’s both rooted in Bulgarian folklore and fearlessly adventurous, a hybrid that feels ancient and utterly now at the same time.
The record resonates like an intimate four-part symphony, from the stillness and depth of winter, through the restless bloom of spring, to the vibrant energy of summer and the reflective calm of autumn. It is a cycle that mirrors the eternal interplay between time, sound, and human experience, offering listeners both immediacy and depth with every note.
