crestfallen EP was born in Berlin, Germany. In it, I explore the cycle of romantic relationships, with lyrics inspired by uncovering parts of myself through these relationships and learning about my needs and desires.

Berlin alt hip-hop/neo-soul artist RAYNE marks her debut on Stereofox.
crestfallen EP is a 7-song project about the complexities of relationships and finding things about yourself through them. The hazy rapping & soulful runs blur the lines between those two genres – reminiscent of the likes of Erykah Badu, IAMDDB & Biig Piig, effortlessly flowing on top of groovy drums, warm melodies & intricate sound design.
“The production of the project is very organic and dreamy: long reverbs, water sounds, and lush vocal layers,” she elaborates. On crestfallen EP, RAYNE is joined by producers Tatamimuse, Blancothewiz, Lai Raw & Mtwenty.
