We wanted to craft something for the start of summer, so those 2 tracks came quite naturally, given the sunny days we’ve had so far. Morning Sun feels like that first track you can play in the morning to feel good, while Caribbean Lights picks up where it leaves off, somewhere between late-night beach bars and faded neon reflections on the water.

THE RELEASE
Jun 30th - Morning Sun
Belgium-born, Portugal-based producer philocalie continues to carve out a warm and groove-driven corner of the contemporary jazz house scene, blending dusty Rhodes textures, sun-soaked percussion, and laid-back house rhythms into an unmistakably feel-good sound. Teaming up once again with German producer Terrazze, known for his melodic and groove-led approach to house music, the duo returns with a two-track release made for the first real days of summer.
Built around breezy grooves, glowing jazz harmonies, and subtle Balearic influences, Morning Sun and Caribbean Lights capture two sides of the same atmosphere: slow mornings under clear skies and warm nights stretching into sunrise. The release balances organic instrumentation with crisp house production, leaning into the duo’s shared love for classic jazz house and modern lo-fi textures. Their previous collaborations have already explored this space through tracks like “Pacific View” and “Tropical Feelings,” both praised for their warm, uplifting energy.
