Flitz sent me a beautiful loop made out of rhodes chords, synths and an arp that I later arranged, added drums to and had a session musician playing horns over that I later chopped into a lead. A little bit more back and fourth and here we have it “the mess we made” a joined effort by two beatmakers who love texture and space mixed with groovy basslines and snapping drums.

There’s cosy and there’s this jazz chillhop that feels like a warm blanket all over your existence.
Frequent collaborators, Swiss producer Oh, My. and German beatmaker Flitz&Suppe return with their joint single “The Mess We Made”.
The track is inspired by the process of collaboration (hence the title), as well as nature hikes & their calming abilities. You’ll find yourself wrapped around with soothing horns, warm synths & a captivating drum groove.
Flitz adds, “I started by jamming to an arpeggio I made back in 2023, which you can still here on 0:40 but didn’t make the cut as a proper final element. I had a mystical, foggy atmosphere in mind, maybe still inspired by recent hikes… so I sent it to Oliver and he did his magic by setting a more complex mood with various percs, guitar, and ofc the leading horn.”
