noxz [ pron. noks ], also known as Enoch, is a multidisciplinary musician, producer, and visual artist whose sound lives at the intersection of R&B, soul, and Afro-fusion with subtle jazz-leaning electronic textures. A former lead designer at Zaha Hadid Architects, he approaches music like structure – shaping texture, negative space, and atmosphere with architectural precision. Influenced by artists such as Masego, Robert Glasper, and Kaytranada, noxz layers African-rooted drum grooves, warm guitar licks, keys, and hardware synths to create immersive, retro-tinged soundscapes that feel both intentional and fluid.
Following the global response to Tones + Silhouettes – a project that centered feeling over genre and introduced his conceptual world of shadow, tone, and emotional depth, noxz enters his next chapter with even greater clarity of vision. Safe To Be, released in collaboration with Stereofox Records and Platoon, expands on the themes of intimacy, atmosphere, and sonic storytelling, building a cohesive body of work designed not just to be heard, but experienced. Where previous releases explored warmth and mystery, this new project widens the lens – balancing live instrumentation, jazz harmonics, and restrained electronic textures with refined songwriting and deeper vulnerability.
This release marks a defining evolution – reconnecting with his foundations in live performance and musicality while pushing further into the spaces between genres. Immersive, intentional, and deeply human, the project captures Enoch at his most expansive yet — designing sound with structure, shaping silence with purpose, and continuing a journey from architecture to atmosphere, from structure to soul.

Nigerian/British, LA-based singer Shae Universe, praised by the likes of Jorja Smith & Chance The Rapper, joins noxz for Can’t Phase Me. The feel-good tune serves as a summer anthem that’ll help you leave any worries behind and remind you to trust yourself. A Kaytra-like blend of r&b, neo-soul, and dance-pop, with uplifting drums & honey vocals.
Single 3 – “Everybody Knows” (w/ Berhana)
A warm & groovy take on regret & a love falling apart. For “Everybody Knows”, Noxz teamed up with Ethiopian, US-based singer Berhana (whose music appears on Donald Glover’s Atlanta show). The song carries soulful piano chords, a driving drum groove, and dreamy vocals that explore the lack of trust & communication in a relationship.
