We wanted to create a smooth, late-night jazzy lofi tune that feels both chill & timeless – and here’s the result.
Midnight Hour & Louk
THE RELEASE
Dutch production duo Midnight Hour team up with Amsterdam saxophonist Louk (of Soul Food Horns) for “Platinum” – a smooth, nocturnal slice of jazzy lofi designed for wandering thoughts.
Built on soft beats, the track drifts through warm keys, hazy sax lines, and trippy flute touches that feel half-awake, half-dreaming. Louk’s melodies float through the tune like a distant streetlight glow, giving “Platinum” its misty, late-night character, while Midnight Hour’s production leaves plenty of space for texture.
Smooth without being polished, dreamy without drifting away, the single captures a sense of after-hours introspection, where jazz meets lofi in their most effortless form.
