Me and Ambulo teamed up once again to create this track called “Impasse”. It started out with some drum grooves and guitar chords to set the tone. From there we worked on layering extra guitar leads, basslines and melodies, trying to create some depth in the song.

Dutch producer/guitarist mell-ø and Finnish musician Ambulo have joined forces for a second release on Stereofox, after their acclaimed tune “Tidepool” (featured on Apple’s Lo-Fi Sunday & Spotify’s sad lofi editorials).
“Impasse” is a soft & emotive piece that will inevitably get stuck in your head. With each layer, mell-ø and Ambulo carefully crafted a tapestry of sound, adding intricate guitar leads, basslines, and subtle drum grooves that gently pull you into the music.

Ambulo has been creating instrumental music since approximately 2010. The moniker came to life in 2017, coinciding with the birth of his son. The sleepless nights that followed this milestone prompted a surge in his creative output.
