Long-time collaborators M1NT and blnkspc_ join forces once again on pearl. EP – a collection of soft jazz house & lo-fi house cuts released via Stereofox Records.
Across the EP, warm grooves, tasteful horn/sax melodies, and timeless production come together to create a sound that feels relaxed, polished, and effortlessly elegant. It features collaborations with saxophonist Imperial Sax, VELD, and pianist Erwo, whose contributions further enrich its sophisticated sonic palette.
Leading the release are the singles “arrow” and “attraction”. “arrow” is a slow-burning, softly electrifying piece, unfolding through warm horn arrangements and mysterious synth work, with a special jazz edit added, too. Meanwhile, “attraction”, featuring Imperial Sax, reveals a more late-night side of the EP, pairing sultry brass lines with forward-moving, playful beats.
pearl. evokes the atmosphere of long summer days by the seaside – listening to the waves, feeling the breeze, and letting the rest of the world fall silent. It’s a soundtrack for slowing down, where ease comes naturally, the days feel lighter, and every moment is allowed to unfold at its own pace.
THE ARTIST
M1NT
M1NT is the jazz house outlet of Flemish electronic music producer, trumpeter, and contemporary composer Michiel De Vleeschhouwer. Also recognised through his instrumental hip-hop project Phlocalyst and as one half of the jazz house duo NRMNT, De Vleeschhouwer moves fluidly between beat-driven production, electronic music, and his background as a trumpet player and composer. Through M1NT, he explores the intersection of soulful house grooves, jazz-infused instrumentation, and sophisticated electronic production.

Originally formed by German producers TESK and B-Side, blnkspc_ is a jazz house project blending soft house and deep jazz-infused lo-fi textures. Its evocative and atmospheric late-night soundscapes have made the project a staple across major lo-fi curation networks. Now solely helmed by B-Side, blnkspc_ serves as his creative outlet for exploring the jazzier side of beat-driven house music.
