Afterhours EP is a soundtrack for night drives along endless, peaceful roads – slightly hypnotic and chill, but also energetic and uplifting. It’s not your typical background music; more of a blend between West Coast vibes and an electronic sound inspired by technology.
Low Heat
THE RELEASE
Beatmaker & production teacher Low Heat returns to Stereofox with his 9th project – the 5-track Afterhours Drive EP.
Following his previous Skill Tree and Don’t Look Back releases, the Sofia-based producer continues to refine his distinctive sound – blending synth-heavy grooves, crisp drums, vocal samples, and warm textures into a style that sits somewhere between nostalgic, chill, and futuristic.
Inspired by the stillness of night drives and the soft pulse of city lights, Afterhours Drive EP captures that feeling of motion without destination – when the road stretches endlessly ahead and the mind starts to wander. Across tracks like “Neon Mirage”, the title one “Afterhours Drive”, and “Shadow Signal”, Low Heat blends West Coast-inspired aesthetics with sleek electronic influences, building a soundscape that feels both immersive and energizing.
With his signature balance of analog warmth and digital precision, Afterhours Drive EP is a journey through illuminated highways and quiet reflections – a perfect late-night companion for both introspection and motion.
