Tabi no Oto captures fragments of landscapes from our memories, translated into music, a continuation of our previous release, Moments in Sounds. The emotions you feel now are uniquely yours, a momentary echo of where you are and who you are now. Take a moment to listen to yourself — and keep moving forward, towards the future.
Komachi & Shin-Ski
THE RELEASE
Sep 3rd - Terminal Station
Sep 24th - Tabi no Oto EP
Japanese producers Komachi & Shin-Ski return with a new project on Stereofox, after their previous EP amassed 1M+ streams and got featured on 20+ editorials on Apple, Spotify, Deezer & TIDAL.
Tabi no Oto (meanig “Sounds of Journey” in Japanese) is, in a way, a continuation of their Moments in Sounds EP – both thematically & sonically. It reflects on the metaphor of travel – not only physically but also within ourselves. The artists add, “A journey is a small version of life itself — full of changes and discoveries. We are always in motion, constantly evolving — and this experience of change will continue throughout our lives.”
The 4 songs carry their signature whimsical & ethereal take on lofi, with warm keys, hazy guitars, lush sax & soft lofi beats. A wonderful soundtrack for your journeys – be they around the world, back home or inward.
