This release is a culmination of my personal struggles and achievements over the past year expressed through my trumpet. The urban landscape provides inspiration and hopefully this can be a soundtrack to introspection and optimism for the future.

Japanese producer Komachi returns to Stereofox Records with his 4th project on the label, this time teaming up with US trumpeter Cvsket Pretty. Streetlight Diaries EP is a four-track journey through the poetry of city life, blending jazz-infused piano melodies, mellow beats, and expressive horn lines into a reflective, yet bright listening experience.
Inspired by the rhythm of urban movement, Streetlight Diaries unfolds like a personal journal written while wandering through a city. The EP’s artwork – a young girl wearing headphones amidst a moving crowd – perfectly mirrors its core: moments of comfort found within the noise.
Cvsket Pretty’s trumpet plays a central role, acting as both narrator and emotional compass throughout the EP. His melodies carry the echoes of personal challenges and triumphs, supported by Komachi’s carefully layered production.
With Streetlight Diaries, Komachi continues to expand his sonic universe on Stereofox – one that celebrates subtle emotion, everyday beauty, and the relief of finding your own space within the city’s endless motion.
