“I made this track in spring getting excited for summertime. I tried to make this song feel like a sunny afternoon rest in a hammock or a cozy chair.”
Kimmø
THE RELEASE
Kimmø is back with his new release with Stereofox “Blurry”, a vibrant chillhop track made for relaxing at the end of summer.
The 23-year-old German producer has a love for hip hop and beats that can seamlessly be heard throughout his catalog. His popular soulful aesthetic has earned him a place in Timbaland’s Beatclub VIP family where he works tirelessly on crafting quality instrumentals and samples for artists around the world. When it comes to his own work, Kimmø has frequently been featured on numerous editorials across DSPs.
On “Blurry” he seeks to welcome listeners to a groovy and warm instrumental that’s embellished with an emotive sax solo courtesy of Sky Jones. This is his solo debut with Stereofox after the collaborative single “Airplane Mode” with Kid Tarô (Mick Jenkins, Vic Mensa) and he’s beautifully captured the feeling of resting during a scorching afternoon.
