“This track is all about capturing a feeling—something warm, soulful, and effortlessly groovy. I wanted it to be the kind of music that drifts through a sunset beach party or soundtracks those early morning hours when the night is winding down, and you’re just soaking in the moment. The process was all about blending textures—chopping up samples, layering synths, and weaving in subtle field recordings I captured in the woodland behind my house. It’s hazy, nostalgic, and meant to feel like a memory you can dance to.”

THE RELEASE
Apr 25th - "Ripple"
Blackadder makes his Stereofox debut with the Bonobo-inspired “Save Me”, a release that teeters between euphoric and soulful.
With regular airplay on Capital Chill and BBC Radio 1, the UK-based producer is carving out a name for himself in the downtempo/electronica scene, crafting a sound that’s both emotive and immersive. Blackadder’s music is shaped by synaesthesia, a condition that allows him to “see” sounds in colors and textures. He approaches production like an intricate collage, stitching together snippets of sound.
It’s this very process that informs the colorful allure found in “Save Me”. The presence of passionate vocals and brass arrangements here offer heart-warming moments. This, alongside the glossy synths, emphasizes Blackadder’s signature brand of emotive electronica.
With his second single “Ripple”, he showcases a different side of his sound and leans towards melodic house. Here he offers a progressive sonic journey that’s enlivened with a driving bassline and luminous arps towards the second half. Both releases are hazy, nostalgic, and are designed to usher emotion into the dancefloor.
