“I didn’t really start these songs thinking they would all become one EP. They came together at different times, but eventually they started to feel like they belonged to the same place in my life. for a while felt like the right name because people, places and moments can feel so permanent when you’re in them, even if they’re only there for a while. I think the EP is just me trying to hold onto that feeling”

Augan’s newest EP for a while is a nostalgic listening experience brought to life by lush soundscapes and uplifting compositions from start to finish.
The India-based producer broke into the electronic scene with his August EP – a release that garnered over 30 million streams across DSPs and support from radio stations like SBS Chill and notable curators like ElectroPosé. Augan’s desire to create music that can become such a meaningful part of someone’s life led to a sound that’s deeply personal, emotive, and designed to resonate long after the final note.
This is exactly what we’re acquainted with on for a while EP. Thematically, the project touches on the idea of holding onto precious, fleeting memories, while his chill electronic sound reminds us of acts like Tourist and Kasbo. The lead single “between cities” is upbeat and brimming with a sense of optimism, a feature that really highlights the overall tone of the project. Augan borrows from UKG and breakbeat too, with tracks like “eternal” exhibiting his tasteful versatility.
This body of work serves as a reminder that even the most meaningful people, places, and moments can feel permanent while we’re in them, despite only being with us for a while.
