
UTone
UTone is the solo project of Japanese keyboardist Yoshitaka Utano. He graduated Jazz Piano from Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. As UTone, he blends influences from neo-soul, jazz, r&b, and hip-hop, fusing sophisticated harmonies, deep, resonant beats, and improvisation that can only be created in the moment.
Yoshitaka Utano frequently performs live and records music with neo-soul guitarist Toshiki Soejima, including at iconic venues like Blue Note Tokyo.
He also has a popular YouTube channel for piano tutorials.
Outset EP is his debut, produced by the Conservatorium van Amsterdam graduate, multi-instrumentalist TromBobby.
