BrandonLee Cierley
BrandonLee Cierley is a Portland-based saxophonist originally from Tacoma, WA, known for blending modern jazz with elements of groove, r&b, and hip hop. A graduate of Pacific Lutheran University with a degree in Exercise Science and Music, BrandonLee has carved a unique sonic space as both a solo artist and collaborator. His sound reflects a fusion of influences and a dedication to pushing genre boundaries.
He has worked alongside artists like Braxton Cook, Farnell Newton, EyeLoveBrandon, Jetfuel Jayy, Jonny Tobin, Machado Mijiga, and POSY, and has shared stages with acts like LA’s Two Friends and legendary saxophonist Mike Phillips at the 2023 PDX Jazz Festival. His recorded work has been widely featured, with multiple live sessions on Seattle’s KNKX and steady airplay on Portland’s KMHD Jazz Radio. His debut album Here Comes a New Challenger (2020) earned KMHD’s Best Single of the Year, while his 2022 release Camaraderie garnered critical acclaim from outlets like All About Jazz and the Jazz Society of Oregon.
Pathways EP is BrandonLee Cierley’s debut release on Stereofox Records, ahead of his 3rd studio album, set to release late 2025.
