Bastet is a Scottish born rapper currently residing in Manchester. He’s been rapping for around 4 years with starting off with poetry and spoken word. As a rapper with roots in poetry, he aspires to keep lyricism at the forefront of his music. Two years ago he began MC’ing and co-founded Off-Licence sessions, an events organisation where he and DJ’s perform sets in Off-Licences, embracing local community culture. Recently, working with London based producer BNMO he has been striking a balance between grime and jazz fitting snugly into the neo soul scene, currently flourishing in the UK.
