Ardisia’s moody and introspective blend of chill electronica, UK Garage, and classical music on his upcoming project Apogee EP offers listeners a quiet sense of escapism.
Since he has been playing music from an early age, the work of the Dutch producer is rich with musicality, resulting in a catalog packed with intricate arrangements and emotional depth. This hasn’t gone unnoticed; Ardisia has not only received support from Anjunadeep’s co-founder James Grant on his mixes, but has also appeared on Apple Music’s iconic chill playlist Pure Focus.
He points towards nature and life with his 3-year-old daughter as a source of inspiration, and this flourishes across the new EP Apogee. The reflective single “Bolide” is a shining example of his signature sound, thanks to the tasteful piano arrangements right beside gentle synth textures. The follow-up “Separate Ways” offers an intimate moment in the project, particularly since the vocals are incredibly comforting and heighten the potential for deep emotional resonance with his fan base.
This marks Ardisia’s debut release with Stereofox, ever since the label discovered him through his breakout track “Quasar”.
