I decided to call the EP Where We Left Off. The tracks sat unfinished for a while now, from the same period of my creative mindset and I finally got over myself to release them.

THE RELEASE
Apr 7th - Linger
May 7th - Where We Left Off EP (focus on Sunrise ft Nosmoh)
US guitarist & producer .Eehou returns to Stereofox with Where We Left Off – his second release on the label and first full EP, following the standalone single “Gleam.” The project is a collection of ideas shaped during the same creative chapter, now revisited, refined, and finally shared with the world.
Sonically, Where We Left Off pushes instrumental hip-hop and jazzhop forward, weaving neo-soul guitars, warm, hazy keys, and head-nodding hip-hop drums into a sound that feels both intimate and hopeful. Each track carries a sense of motion and restraint, letting groove and melody breathe without ever overplaying their hand.
The EP opens with “Sunrise,” featuring London-based producer Nosmoh, setting a reflective and warm tone, especially with the guitar solo in the second half. The lead single “Essence” brings in Maryland beatmaker & saxophonist SYNC.EXE, whose smooth sax & signature spacey synths offer a brighter, yet still cozy note to the project.
Visually, the EP mirrors its sonic mood through blurry movement, vintage textures, and mixed-media aesthetics, reinforcing the idea of unfinished moments, memory, and creative pause. Where We Left Off isn’t about nostalgia for its own sake – it’s about returning to something honest, trusting the process, and letting the music exist on its own terms.
