Chanelle Ray
Chanelle Ray, a Washington state-born singer-songwriter, found her voice at a young age at her grandfather’s Philadelphia Church. Despite an evanescent childhood, her experiences enriched her understanding of life and music. After leaving The Art Institute of Seattle to pursue music, a period of hardship deepened her grasp of life’s essence.
Drawing inspiration from artists like Nina Simone, Sade, Erykah Badu & Lauryn Hill, Ray blends the richness of jazz with the soul of r&b, offering listeners an intimate reflection of love and her personal evolution.
