PIANIKA
Seven sisters, named after the constellation that seems to vanish when you look directly at it, is an ode to the things in life that are most beautiful when you don’t try to hold on, but allow them to be exactly as they are.
Lune is for everyone intentionally tending to their inner world. A gently triumphant piece, imbued with all the wonder and tenderness of being alive. I made this sitting in sand dunes, next to the sea.
Moirai is the centre piece, originally inspired by a beautiful woman I was blessed to connect with. Eyes and mind like pools of crystal clear water. Skin drenched in moonlight. Soft, and vibrantly alive.
It was a connection that felt orchestrated, for all its serendipity.
The name comes from three goddesses in Greek mythology, responsible for fate and destiny… seemingly beyond even the will of the Gods.
Phantasia closes the EP with a meditative drift.
A delicate farewell, and an invitation to choose and create an inner experience: a feeling you’ve longed for, words you’ve wanted to hear, or person you’d like to become.

PIANIKA crafts a tranquil world on Lune EP, a body of work that encourages introspection and relaxation through its peaceful sonic palette.
In just 2 years, the New Zealand-based producer and classically-trained musician has become a rising star in the realm of electronica. Her breath-taking mixture of ambient and house music (a sound she tags as lullaby house) has earned her remix opportunities for artists like TÂCHES and a top 3 placement on Apple Music’s Swedish electronic charts.
On her latest project, she gracefully navigates the space between meditative stillness and vibrant movement, showcasing her lullaby house aesthetic at its peak. Laced with airy vocals and soft synths, the uplifting yet comforting “Moirai” stands as a shining example and serves as the EP’s centerpiece. Its healing touch is complemented by it’s accompanying single “Seven Sisters” – a track made as an ode to letting go.
