Starting off with the drums, I got inspired by a very loose and laidback groove and built the track around it. You would be surprised by how off the grid everything is, but it feels just right in the full arrangement. I’m striving further away from the “lofi” sound and embracing my neo-soul influences with a more “live” feel to the track.

What’s especially exciting is the clear shift away from traditional lofi aesthetics. Instead, we’re hearing a richer, more soulful palette, deeply rooted in neo-soul and live instrumentation.

Originally from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, .EEhOU grew up surrounded by music, performing in a folk band and studying classical piano and guitar. Over time, they expanded their instrumental range to include flute and saxophone, constantly exploring new sounds.
