“We wanted to escape a part of the winter in the Netherlands, so we flew to Barcelona with headphones, a mini midi keyboard and a drum machine. Spent 4 amazing days making music together while able to walk around the city, eat tapas and enjoy the sun. This was our first ‘Beatcation’ but definitely not the last one. Our music has been evolving over the years and currently we’ve been working a lot more with chopping up samples and layering/recreating them with our own flavour. It’s been a lot of fun and we enjoy watching our own unique sound unfold”.

"Park Guell" - Apr 25th
The creation of Night Shift’s newest release “Nostalgia” arose from a summer vacation, and this informs the track’s warm, feel-good atmosphere.
This double single marks a return to the Stereofox label for Night Shift – the collaborative venture between praised musicians and beatmakers DESH and delaney. Both are renowned figures in the jazzhop scene, boasting multiple editorial placements DSPs, millions of streams, and sharing stages with iconic acts as touring musicians.
Their project as Night Shift channels their futuristic take on jazzhop, and this is beautifully captured on “Nostalgic” through glossy synths and an irresistible rhythm section. The follow up “Park Guell” takes on a more minimalist approach. This experience welcomes us to a moodier soundscape characterized by airy keys and the signature solo runs of delaney.
Both tracks offer a moment to sit back and unwind as they blur the lines between introspective and soothing.
