This is a project several years in the making and it explores the usual emotional soundscapes I enjoy, as well as some more upbeat and hopeful styles. Music has a healing power, both when you’re listening to it and when you’re making it. This album has helped me work through some tough things including the loss of a loved one and the writer’s block that came with that. Working closely with my collaborator jives on this project helped me get re-inspired, as he pushed me to try new sounds.
The music feels like a return to my chill and melodic roots, as well as a journey into some new styles I haven’t explored before. These days I’m looking at the music I make as snapshots in my life — each song has memories embedded within it. I hope people can reflect on their own memories while they listen to the songs and create new ones. Each song is a time capsule “for a moment.”

for a moment is HOUNDTRACK’s debut Stereofox album. The 8-song project is created as a means of healing, while also fostering new beginnings.
Blending different music styles like electronic, downtempo, chill beats, melodic bass & chill house, the songs are united by the US producer’s signature style – vocal samples, punchy production & warm synths.
The LP features Salt Lake, UT producer jives & shobi, the lead singer of Lisbon indie electronic duo Vaarwell.
“heard & felt” is the 1st single from for a moment LP. Reminiscent of his highly-acclaimed Stereofox releases “Afterglow” & “Cul de Sac” (which amassed 10M+ streams across DSPs), the song blends electronic, melodic bass & chill beats for a truly uplifting & bright, yet soothing listening experience.
The chill/melodic house gem “evening swim” is the 2nd single which aims to make you float effortlessly while feeling the crisp night air. The tune is relaxing & warm but also evokes that sweet nostalgic feeling you get when you remember something beautiful.
Blending various genres & styles like downtempo, future beats & melodic bass, the 3rd single “nothing2u” resembles the eclectic styles of Purity Ring & Made In Heights. Thanks to the honey vocals of shobi (the lead singer of Lisbon indie electronic duo Vaarwell), “nothing2u” tells the story of a broken relationship & the feeling of despair that only one can make go away. shobi (Margarida Falcão) has worked with electronic legends like Astrality & Enamour under Armada Music & Anjuna.
And the title track is a bright & chill house voyage while keeping his signature processed vocal samples – creating a warm, almost therapeutic sonic experience.
