UK-based artist, Dokkodo Sounds, has just announced the release of their upcoming EP, Everything We Could Have Done. The release takes a deep dive into the emotions surrounding living in the past and the duality it can provide. Through their unique sound and lyrical depth, Thomas captures both the positive aspects of reminiscing about fond memories and the negative effects of holding onto romanticized versions of the past. Featuring 2 collaborations, the EP serves as a reminder to focus on the present and cherish the people who matter most in our lives.
THE ARTIST
Dokkodo Sounds
Dokkodo Sounds is the main artistic project of Leeds-based artist Thomas Trueman. The producer, composer, and sound designer creates lofi, ambient, and downtempo instrumentals with nostalgic melodies and hazy beats steeped in Japanese aural influence. Much respected for his community-oriented approach to creating and sharing in the music-making process, Thomas is also an educator of electronic music production at the Leeds Conservatoire.
